3-way A-Pillar Speaker Pods 70 Series LandCruiser (Tweeter + Midrange)
Compatibility
Suitable for most Toyota 70 Series LandCruiser models fitted with factory A-pillar trims, including:
- 2009+ 76 Series Wagon
- 2009+ 78 Series TroopCarrier
- 79 Series Dual Cab
- 2009-2016 (pre-DPF) 79 Series Single Cab
This product is not compatible with 2016+ DPF 79 Series Single Cab models. Depending on demand, we may release a version to suit this model in the future.
Sleek Styling, Premium Finish
Our 3-Way A-Pillar Speaker Pods have been designed with a strong focus on maintaining a low profile appearance. While it is possible to achieve more optimal speaker positioning and angles with a larger, custom fabricated pod, we've chosen a sleek design that integrates neatly and maintains a factory look.
Choose from the following options:
- Grey Alcantara (to complement factory trim)
- Black Alcantara
- Un-finished, straight off the 3D printer. Best for trade customers, stereo shops or keen DIYers wanting to upholster or paint their pods.

We can also upholster your factory A-pillars in matching Alcantara if you send them to us. These must be in reasonably good condition. Dirty or damaged A-pillar covers cannot be used. Our delivery address is: ATTN: Upholstery Team, Car Consoles, 2/1 The Crescent, Kingsgrove NSW 2208.
Installation
The pods mount to your factory A-pillar trims and do not require any drilling into the vehicle body.
A cutting jig is supplied with every set to help accurately modify your factory A-pillars for speaker clearance and pod mounting. We use a Dremel to cut the holes, however any suitable tool capable of cutting round and oval openings in plastic can be used.
Speaker Compatibility
Not all tweeters and midrange speakers will fit this design. To maintain a slim factory-style profile, speaker depth and diameter are critical. Some speaker models have oversized baskets, mounting flanges or tweeter housings that may not be compatible.
Please advise the exact speaker model you intend to install when ordering so we can confirm compatibility. Here are the speaker models we have installed to date:

- No upholstery or material is supplied (ideal for trade customers or keen DIYers). Upholstery or paint experience required
What info do we require from you?
Each set is made to order, as the mounting diameters vary between speaker models. Before we can begin making your order, we'll need the required mounting hole diameters for both the tweeter and midrange speaker. You can either send us the mounting diameters or the manufacturer's specification sheet for your chosen speakers.
If you haven't purchased your speakers yet or the mounting dimensions aren't available, we can supply the pods without the speaker holes cut. We'll include a small pilot hole to mark the centre of each speaker position, allowing you to cut the final openings yourself using a hole saw or similar tool once your speakers have been selected.
